UCSI Year 2008 Scholarship Award Information
UCSI offers various scholarship awards every year to deserving
students. Internally, UCSI offers UCSI scholarship and A-Levels
scholarship. UCSI also contributes scholarship to some education
funds namely the Star Education Fund, Sin Chew Daily Scholarship
Awards, Nanyang Tertiary Education Scholarship and MAPCU
Scholarship.

Tan Sri Ahmad Razali Merit Scholarship Awards 2007
|
|
|
The Tan Sri Ahmad Razali Merit Scholarship Awards is offered to deserving students with outstanding academic achievements
and participation in extra-curricular activities. The objective of these scholarship awards is to provide students with
the opportunity to experience quality education at UCSI.
Eligible students can apply to any of the UCSI diploma/degree
programmes below (except for Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing & 3D Animation, Architectural Technology and Interior Technology):
Biotechnology, Food Science & Nutrition, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Communication & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management, Logistics
Management, Computing, Business Information Systems, Mass Communication, Psychology, English Language & Communication,
Music and A-Levels.

A. Full Scholarship |
|
|
To be eligible for the Full Scholarship, applicants must meet the following academic requirements: |
|
|

Must register at UCSI and fulfill admission requirements |
|
2. |
Must be Malaysian and a full-time student |
|
3. |
Possess minimum academic requirements as below: |
|
 |
SPM - Minimum 10A1s for relevant subjects, including English |
 |
UEC - Minimum 8A1s for relevant subjects, including English |
 |
A-Levels - Minimum 3As for relevant subjects (excluding General Paper) |
 |
STPM - Minimum 4As for relevant subjects (excluding Pengajian Am) |
 |
SAM - > 90% (aggregate)
|
 |
CPU - > 90% (aggregate) |
 |
For Music Scholarship: Minimum grade 7 in both theory and practical in music and pass the audition |
|
|
4. |
Other Terms & Conditions: |
|
 |
Active in extra-curricular activities |
 |
Must not be bonded to or be a recipient of any financial aid or rewards from other educational institutions or organisations |
 |
All scholarship awards are limited to tuition fees only |
 |
The recipient must help in the Student Affairs Office for not more than 5 hours per week |
 |
Successful applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or 65% per subject per semester |
 |
Eligible candidates must fill up the TSAR Merit Scholarship Form and attach certified copies of their results and other relevant documents |
 |
The scholarship will be awarded based on actual results |

|
Closing date: Completed applications must reach UCSI by 31 March 2008 |

|
B. Partial Scholarship |
|
|
To be eligible for the Partial Scholarship, applicants must meet the following academic requirements: |

Must register at UCSI and fulfill admission requirements |
|

Must be Malaysian and a full-time student |
|
3. |
Possess minimum academic requirements as below: |

SPM - Minimum 7A1s for relevant subjects, an A2 for English |

UEC - Minimum 4A1s for relevant subjects, including English |
 |
A-Levels - Minimum 2As and 1B for relevant subjects (excluding General Paper) |

STPM - Minimum 3As for relevant subjects (excluding Pengajian Am) |

of the scholarship amount not consumed within the A-Levels programme can and will be credited to the students' account for subsequent degree
programme in UCSI |

The recipient must help in the Student Affairs Office for not more than 5 hours per week |

2. UCSI Scholarship (Internal)
|
This partial scholarship is available to students with outstanding
academic achievements through examinations and participation in
extra-curricular activities. Eligible students can apply to any of
the UCSI diploma/degree programmes except the following:
1. Medicine
2. Pharmacy
3. Nursing
4. 3D Animation Design
5. Architectural Technology and Interior Architecture
Conditions for Application:

Must be Malaysian and full time student |
| 2. |
Must qualify to gain admission to UCSI |
| 3. |
Eligible candidate must fill up the UCSI Scholarship form and attach with certified copies of results and other relevant documents as stated in the form. |
| 4. |
Forecast results are acceptable conditionally; award of scholarship will depend on actual results |
| 5. |
