The library at UCSI
occupies aprx. 14,000 sq. ft. (or 1300 sq. m). It has the latest
text and reference books, printed journals, music scores and
audio-visual items. It has approximately 21,000 books, 30 titles of
Journals and magazines, 1059 thesis and project reports, 41, 350
e-books from 6 databases and 40, 000 e-
journals from 9databases. To
complement this, the library archive includes over 1200 AV materials
such as CD-ROMs and video cassettes, and 305 music CDs. Librarians
are ready to advise and assist users in all aspects of library use
and offer guidance on using the library facilities and computerized
services. Workstations with Internet facilities, which include
access to e-mail, the library's online catalogs and other sources of
information during the operational hours of the library, are also
available for free. CD-ROMs, audio CDs and videocassettes are
available as supplementary references. Discussion rooms are also
available for members.
