Kuala Lumpur, 30 July 2009 -

Exclusively by Accord" campaign in conjunction with the

In an interview, he
expressed his pleasure in contributing to this campaign, as
it parallels with his own personal mission of motivating
future generations towards success in their chosen careers.
"I believe that persistence and diligence are keys to realising one's ambitions." He also hopes to be a motivator
and a mentor to ambitious young people to succeed. Thus, he recognises Prof. W. Chan Kim, co-author of the Blue Ocean
Strategy, as one of his mentors who has helped him to
succeed.
The President came from a humble
background. Twenty-three years ago, he started the Canadian
Institute of Computer Studies (CICS), with only two
computers. Fast forward two decades later; UCSI is now a
full-fledged University, poised to "Take On The World, with
a fourth campus due to begin construction soon, in Port
Dickson. He believes that his life's journey and the lessons
he had learnt should be shared with others sharing a common
goal. This is realised through Honda Malaysia's campaign.

The
Accord's maxim, "Ambition has no limits" is shared by UCSI
University. The university inculcates this spirit to its
students through initiatives such as the Co-Operative
Education Training Programme which emphasises practical
training and enhances work experience among students. This
is equally true of the university's 2EZ (Enterprise &
Entrepreneurship Zone) Programme, which inculcate enterprise
and entrepreneurship by engaging an industry partner who
coach and train students in key business areas such as
Management, Human Resource, Marketing Strategy, Accounting
and Administration functions. These two programmes, coupled
with skills and knowledge acquired in the classrooms,
produce graduates who are highly-motivated and dedicated to
achieving success propelled by value innovation.
Honda Malaysia also selected five other individuals that
best personify its latest campaign. They are Ms. Sharmini
Hansen, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Life Works; Ar. Lee Chor Wah, President of Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia;
Scott Lim, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment
Officer of MIDF Amanah Asset Management; Datuk Dr. Nor
Ashikin Mokhtar, Founder of Primanora Women Medical Centre
and Dr. Reza Azmi, Founder of Wild Asia.
