Kuala Lumpur, 17 January 2009 - For the past eight
years, UCSI University has always taken the health and
well-being of the community to heart. Through its annual
Public Health Campaign, organised by the Faculty of Medical
Sciences, the University has made sure that the community is
always aware of the status of their health and that of their
family members. Following the success of last year’s event,
this year’s Public Health Campaign will kick off in three
stages, followed by two similar events to disseminate
much-needed health awareness that will benefit individuals,
families and communities.
The first leg of this year’s Public Health Campaign began at
the Pandamaran Chinese Methodist Church Kindergarten in
Klang. The event was launched by UCSI University’s Deputy
Vice Chancellor, Assoc. Prof. Chin Peng Kit, Vice President
of Academic affairs, Prof. Dr. Kwan Teck Kim and Pastor
Stephen Chan Thiam Hee, representing the Chinese Methodist
Church Kindergarten.
