UCSI Group President and Vice Chancellor Peter T.S. Ng stated that the education township will be developed in 3 phases. The first phase will be the development of a fully-equipped international school with residential facilities, and a state-of-the art 500-bed medical centre. This phase will be ensued by  the development of the main campus of the group's flagship university, UCSI. It will house a Faculty of Medical Sciences offering academic programmes in medicine, nursing, optometry and physiotherapy, a Faculty of Management & Information Technology, a Faculty of Applied Sciences, a centre dedicated to the continuous research onto the Blue Ocean Strategy.

The third phase will see the development of an incubation centre for UCSI's subsidiaries and spin-off companies resulting from its research and discovery efforts, an applied nursery for research, and commercial facilities for the green industry to promote eco-tourism in Malaysia. There are also plans in the pipeline to include facilities for Marine Biology  Studies in this final phase.

It is anticipated that, once all the phases of the project are completed, there would be thousands of jobs and business opportunities created for both the local and the wider communities. This multi-million Ringgit, 3-phase project is targeted for completion in 2016.

Bandar Springhill is developed by West Synergy Sdn. Bhd., a joint venture between MUI Properties Berhad and Chin Teck Plantations Berhad. Its long term development phases aims to create a new growth corridor for Negeri Sembilan. Conceptualised on 2,000 acres of prime freehold land, Bandar Springhill is planned as a modern township with all essential amenities, conveniences, support services and a comprehensive mix of development for a thriving community. Strategically located off two major roads, the Seremban-Port Dickson trunk road and the Seremban-Port Dickson Highway. It is a 15-minutes drive to Port Dickson and 10 minutes to Seremban. Built to high development standards, Bandar Springhill is planned with broad carriageways, efficient drainage, well-provided sewerage and water reticulation systems, fibre-optic cable network for modern telephone communications and high-speed multimedia transmissions, attractive landscaping and generous open spaces. Thus, locating an education township with a major portion of UCSI's establishment is a positive contribution towards making Malaysia an education hub.
