Note from the Editor-in-Chief

Hello again and welcome to the seventh issue of the UCSI E-Weekly.

When 1,200 students from various higher learning institution gathered at the MPH to celebrate the Ministry of Higher Education's Patriotic Day Carnival 2006 last month, the energy was high and expectation was great. Everyone who attended appeared excited and enthusiastic. Read more in this issue to find what patriotism meant to them.

Also, my heartiest congratulations to the three A-Levels top scorers for achieving straight A's (4As) in the A-Levels June 2006 examination.

Further, find out how eight UCSI students teamed up and showed their care to the community by taking time off from their studies to visit the senior citizens at the Sri Seronok Retirement Village in Cheras recently.

For quick updates on some happenings on campus, check out the highlights on the Experience IT Workshop and OIC Delegates' Visit, and some useful  information on the Awards Day.

Finally, we have a very touching story to share with you in Beautiful Message.

Happy reading!

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age. Nothing does - except wrinkles. It's true, some wines improve with age, but only if the grapes were good in the first place."
