SUCCESS STORIES & CELEBRATIONS

Greetings and a warm welcome to the sixth issue of the UCSI E-Weekly.

This week's feature story continues to recognize another unsung hero, Professor Dr. Terrence P. Hogan, who has been involved in the University's development for no less than 18 years. For his immense contributions, UCSI has conferred upon him the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters at UCSI's recent 19th Convocation Ceremony.

Furthermore, read about our graduates who has proved themselves in UCSI and ready to take on the world! -  Colin Ng, probably the first visually-impaired person in the country to have graduated with a music degree from a local university and the only child of a single mother, Tan Yien Yien, who topped her batch of graduates at this year’s convocation.

Also, my heartiest congratulations to School of Architecture, Management & Surveying for winning five design awards recently at the Malaysian Society of Interior Designers: 11th Students Design Competition.

For quick updates on some happenings on campus, check out the highlights on the SAMS Design Workshop in Cherating, Ginvera Green Tea Total Makeover Challenge and the MAPCU Futsal Tournament, and some upcoming events in the weeks ahead.

Enjoy the newsletter!

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Imagination is more important than knowledge,
or knowledge is limited while imagination embraces the entire world.
