The Co-Operative Education Programme by University College Sedaya
International (UCSI) is a good programme that has benefited both UCSI and MAS.
We, at MAS, are proud to be part of this programme. From the evaluation
reports from the Supervising Officers, UCSI students have proven themselves to
be disciplined, committed and hardworking students during their training with
MAS. We have no problems in
accepting future UCSI students wishing to do their industrial training with
us.

This is a very good
practical training programme, allowing for the students to gain more experience
before they are really involved in their selected fields.
We found UCSI students to be cheerful and polite.
They are keen to learn and take up the challenging tasks handed to
them.
Johnson & Johnson Sdn. Bhd.
In our opinion, UCSIs Co-Op Programme is an excellent initiative.
Participating as a Co-Op employer has given us the opportunity to remain
updated and connected to academia and whats new in the education industry.
While working with UCSIs students, we were able to obtain fresh ideas
contributing to our Improvement Projects.
It was great to work with UCSIs students, who were dedicated, open to
feedback, independent and cheerful.
We found that they persistently took the initiative to ensure completion of
assignments and exceeded our expectations altogether!
I would say that with UCSIs interns, you are rest assured that
everything is under control.

UCSIs Co-Operative
Education Programme is a good outlet for undergraduates to learn more about the
corporate world and for them to be exposed to the working environment.
With this, they would have a realistic understanding of what is expected
of them and vice versa. Merits are
given based on work performance and the students having a positive attitude.
We found UCSIs students willing to learn, besides being hardworking and
adaptable. They were also able to
communicate well with Bio-Life department staff.
Ms. Ng May Lee

Bio-Life Marketing Sdn. Bhd.
UCSIs internship students displayed positive
attiudes and interest towards the tasks assigned to them.
We found that they were able to work independently once briefed.
With more training and experience, these students would most definitely
be able to contribute effectively to their future employers.
In the meantime, however, we feel that this internship certainly is an
excellent opportunity for students to gain invaluable exposure in the working
world. On top of practical tasks,
students are given the opportunity to hone their soft-skills such as
interpersonal and communication skills.
Participating in such a programme will also give them a clearer indication of
where their career interest lies.

I believe UCSIs Co-Op Programme is beneficial to students
development in their professional fields of choice, and should be continued.
It was a pleasure working with UCSIs intern students and we look
forward to working with UCSI during the next Co-Op term.

UCSI's Co-Op Education Programme provides
students with the opportunity to combine their academic training with
experience in the workplace. The diversity of experiences
these students receive from their work eases their transition into the
workforce. This will provide students an avenue for learning beyond the
borders of a classroom. In return, employers benefit from having
students contribute new ideas, fresh perspectives, and enthusiasm, to
their organisation. It also gives employers an opportunity to shape
the development of potential employees.
This programme will help to bridge the gap between the academic
community and the world of work, as it promotes a win-win collaborative
relationship between the employers, students and the education institutions.
Based on our past
experiences with USCI's Co-Op students, we found that they are committed to
their work assignments, willing to learn and assume more responsibilities
and challenges to enhance their skills to become a professional employee after
graduation.

UCSIs Co-Op Programme is very valuable.
