Group President and Vice Chancellor, Peter Ng’s speech further reinforced MOHE’s and the government’s stance with regard to education, training and human capital. He explained that the myProfile Web Portal will enable students to easily access, up-grade and promote their curriculum vitae. Their profile which consist of their personal details, skills and ability, academic achievements and work experience can now be viewed online by potential employers from anywhere around the world.
As for the eAlumni, graduates are now able to maintain their contact with UCSI, friends and other members to enhance their networking with each other. Graduates gain advantage from the postgraduate and part-time study opportunities at UCSI through the eAlumni.
Both the myProfile and eAlumni participants will also benefit in terms of employment opportunities through UCSI’s Co-Operative (Co-Op) Employer Network.
The event was attended by many Co-Op employers, who UCSI clearly acknowledge for their contribution to the success of the training programme. Alumni members, the university board and VIPs, UCSI staff and students were also present at the event.
