Copyright & Ownership Policy
Academic Papers
JASA does
not seek to own the copyright of academic
(technical) papers published in JASA. The
publishers practice a unique copyright scheme in which the
authors retain the copyright of their papers. Authors are
only required to sign a Publication Licensing Form to grant
UCSI Centre for Research Excellence the permission to
publish and archive their papers. This scheme allows authors
to publish their papers in other journals and to archive
their papers in their respective institutions. This is part of our
efforts to provide free and open
access to information, thereby advancing knowledge for
society.
