Text Box: EDITORIAL
It is with great joy that I write here for JASA Volume 2. Drawing on the success of the first volume, the team has once again put together a wonderful compilation of articles, further strengthened by academic papers of high quality produced by our contributors. IN-DEPTH - VOLUMETRIC DISPLAY TECHNOLOGY

Volumetric Display Technologies are set to revolutionize the way we display information. These are probably some of the questions running through everyone’s mind. In this article, we explain how a Volumetric Display works and why it is not the same as the Holodeck. We also introduce some of the technologies that are already available in the market including some pioneering research work being undertaken at the UCSI Centre for Research Excellence.
