General Admission Procedures

Step 1: Documents to be Submitted
1. Download and print out the Application Form. This form is to be completed and signed
2. Academic Qualifications (Certified)
2a 3 copy of HSC certificate / IB diploma / A-Levels / O-Levels or equivalent
2b 3 copy of High School Leaving Certificate / Testimonial
2c Transfer students from other institutions (exemption):
1 set of syllabus - course content, credit hours & assessment scheme (English version)

Postgraduate application:
- 3 copy of CV (resume)
- 3 copy of letter from employer (if applicable)
- 3 copy of letter of completion from awarding university

Note:
The certificates stated in (a) to (c) above must be translated into English if they are in other languages.
3. 1 set of photocopies passport (All pages; A4 size paper; valid for at least 12 months) and 3 sets of personal information pages including passport extended renewal page.
4. Include twelve (12) copies of passport-size color photographs (with the student's name and passport number clearly written on the reverse side of every photograph)
5. 1 copy of completed Health Examination Medical Report (validity within 3 months before registration), attached with all the original laboratory results and chest X-ray film and report
6. Accommodation Application Form
Note:
All International Students are required to reside at the Residential Hall for their first semester at UCSI University unless prior arrangements has been made and approved by UCSI University management. All the above documents must be mailed or couriered to:

7. Application fee: Please send the Application Fee by Telegraphic Transfer and fax the TT receipt, with student's name written on it, to UCSI University.

Step 2: Letter of Acceptance
Upon receiving the above documents and the applications fees, UCSI University will email a scanned copy of the Letter of Acceptance (LoA), provided the student meets the entry requirements. UCSI University will submit the documents to the Malaysian Immigration Department to begin processing the Visa Approval Application. This process will take about 60 days.
Step 3: UCSI University Sends VAL
When remittance of the Initial Fees and Miscellaneous Fees (as stated in the LoA and total rental and deposit for staying in Residential Hall) have been credited to UCSI University's bank account via Telegraphic Transfer (refer to Step 1), UCSI University will courier the original LoA and the Original Visa Approval Letter (VAL) to the student.
