I wish for 2010 year to be a happy and joyful year for all mankind and for Mother Nature. Everyone will be happy living harmoniously with the earth and always looking at the positive side of everything. It is a beautiful world and magnificent days ahead to live a good life after all.

If you are all negatively packed with sadness and depression, close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, drink a cup of good coffee smell the calming scent of it, a “kaw” cup of Milo, drop by at the mamak stall, order teh tarik, have some rojak or roti canai. Enjoy it! Embrace it! The NEW YEAR is here! NEW creations to create, NEW challenges to take on, a NEW cycle is about to begin. It is YOUR choice to make it a different cycle and make it an interesting year.
Love and Gratitude,

As the New Year draws near, my new year resolution is to manage my time well, build rapport with people around me, (my parents, family members, friends, my fellow assignment and laboratory mates, laboratory assistants and lecturers and tutors), gain knowledge from my subjects, learn from my mistakes, be positive and be an asset to the society.

For me, I wish everything in my life will go on smoothly, including my career, family as well as my relationships with people.

In the coming 2010, I will work hard and create a better life for myself, as well as for my family.

I wish the people around me will be more appreciative of people / things that they have, because life is short. My New Year Resolutions are to save more money and have a nice trip overseas.’

My New Year Resolution is to complete the project that I have started in 2009, which is to publish my book about my travel in Bhutan by end of 2010. I would love to visit this country again and spend my life with the nomads for once-in-a-life time experience and complete the last chapter of my book. Travel has always been the motivation for me to work hard at what I do. Implementing proper planning and being organised at work enables me to pursue my passion for travel.

I am not one who makes New Year Resolutions, as life is usually unpredictable. It is how one copes and how the experience affects them that makes one mentality stronger or weaker. I do, however, have a wish list. Top on the list is health. My own, those of my family and in-laws.

Late last year I resolved to take care of my health so I can take care of others. With parents and in-laws reaching their golden years, going in and out of hospital seemed to get more frequent. Landing in the hospital and taking a full month to recover from surgery on my own, just recently, has reinforced my belief one should never take their health for granted.

So here’s wishing everyone better health and a great 2010!

This year has indeed been a fruitful year. We have been through thick and thin together and stayed strong together. For the coming year, I wish that all ties are strengthened and let’s work together towards establishing ourselves for the greater good of ourselves and of the organisation.
