Vision

To be recognised as a broad-based University actively engaged in innovative research contributions and entrepreneurial activities through establishing Smart Partnerships building University Research Capabilities and developing Entrepreneurial Value Solutions in knowledge dissemination.

Mission

To establish a conducive environment to continuously improve its basic infrastructure and amenities for research.
To develop and promote specialised research areas on the frontiers of knowledge and cutting edge technology with potential to be a national and international leader.
To foster multi- and inter-disciplinary collaborative research within and outside UCSI University.
To enhance the research skills of its researchers.
To promote quality learning and research opportunities and resources and to inculcate good research practice and conduct.
To promote smart partnerships and provide technical support and assistance to local and global industries by capitalizing on the expertise of UCSI University’s highly-qualified Faculties.
To promote and support the transformation of theoretical market-driven applications into real-life commercialised industrial applications.
To generate more spin-off companies from UCSI University’s community.
